Eric has been serving clients since 2000. His focus on attempting to keep clients away from 20%-50% devasting market crashes.  Eric is known for his ability to explain complex concepts in simple, easy to understand language and focuses on counseling and educating individuals on the challenges they will face in their financial future.

Prior to founding Amicus Financial he worked as a Financial Advisor with a large Wall Street securities firm. 

Eric grew up in Connersville, Indiana and graduated from IU East with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He now lives on Morse Lake in Cicero with his wife Amy and their three children. His life passions are Making Memories with family, golfing, boating and traveling. 

Karen Kell joined Eric at Amicus Financial in 2022, after knowing him for over twenty years and being a client for seven. She plays a key role in day-to-day operations, marketing, and serves as a Client Specialist. Currently in the process of becoming an advisor, Karen will continue to focus on client growth and fostering strong client relationships, while Eric continues to manage all investments and guiding clients through and to their financial goals.  Karen finds great satisfaction in witnessing clients embrace opportunities to achieve those goals for their retirement.

She is a mother to two sons and cherishes “Making Memories” as "Nana" to her four grandchildren. In her spare time, alongside Brad, they enjoy getting their hands dirty in their herb, veggie & flower gardens. A native of Indianapolis, Karen is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in hospitality, sales and member relations. She has served on the Business Women Connect and Central Indiana Women’s Business Center Advisory Boards, bringing her dynamic presence and energy to every endeavor. Karen lives by her motto: "Make a Difference!"
